As the CEO and President of Upper Mohawk, Inc. (UMI), Pat Barnes oversees all facets of the company, including sales, marketing, training, budgeting, proposal writing, and strategic planning. Her role encompasses business development, program management, and administrative operations, ensuring the successful execution of UMI’s multi-million dollar federal contracts.
Pat joined UMI in 1998, bringing with her a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in training and development, including owning and operating her own company. Under her leadership, UMI has secured and managed significant contracts such as the Office of Historical Trust Accounting Special Distribution Project, Office of Special Trustee for American Indians, Office of Trust Records, and Administration for Native Americans. Her extensive background in training has been pivotal in securing contracts with the Department of the Interior for assessment, curriculum development, and training services.
In March 2018, Patricia transitioned into an ownership role of Upper Mohawk, Inc.
Beyond her professional achievements, Pat is deeply committed to her community and the Native American community at large. She is the Co-Founder of and serves as President on the board of directors for 7th Generation Community Services Corporation, reflecting her dedication to giving back and supporting community development.
