DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE MENTOR PROTEGE PROGRAM
Northrop Grumman Corporation selected Upper Mohawk, Inc. to receive a 2012 World Class Team Supplier Award. UMI was nominated by Northrop Grumman Technical Services for its subcontract supporting technical data systems and data management at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center.
The award recognized UMI’s outstanding performance and consistent support of Northrop Grumman programs.

In February 2005, Upper Mohawk successfully completed the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program with Northrop Grumman Space Technology serving as its mentor.
The program helped UMI strengthen its technical, operational, and business capabilities and compete more effectively for federal prime contracts and subcontracting opportunities.

Upper Mohawk and Northrop Grumman Space Technology received the prestigious Nunn-Perry Award in 2003. The Department of Defense presents this recognition to outstanding teams participating in the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program.
The award recognized the success of the partnership and its contribution to strengthening UMI’s technical and business capabilities.
